The run is TODAY!.

There is still plenty of time to sign up and support the Kempsville Lions Club. All forms are on our website: www.kempsvillelionsclub.org so download, fill out and bring with you today.  Sign-up starts at 8:00am.  Run begins at 9:00am.

This year we have a new venue - The Virginia Beach SPORTSPLEX (2181 Landstown Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23456). This promises to be a great new place for our run.  As we grow we look to expand - thus, a new venue.  

Please come out and support our cause and have a blast doing it!

For your convenience our crew will be at Running Etc. (1940 Laskin Rd., Suite 308) today, January 11, 3:00pm - 7:00pm, to register people and hand out runner's packs.

 

Can't make it? Don't sweat it. You can register tomorrow at the race.

Kempsville Lions Club was established in 1953 with a mission to assist the citizens of Virginia Beach.

 

The club provides: eyeglasses and vision screening to those of all ages who cannot afford them; including FREE PediaVision Eye Screening for babies thru 12 year olds, hearing tests and aids to the needy; and diabetes and youth services to those who need assistance.

 

To accomplish this, the club established the annual Frosty 5K run.  In its third year, the run raises funds from sponsors and runners to support the mission.
